Dr. Kaymar Peter Sharifi was born just around the corner at O’Connor Hospital. He is an alumnus of Santa Clara High School, UC Santa Cruz, and the University of the Pacific Authur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. 

From a young age, he knew he wanted to work in healthcare. He began his journey pursuing a career in medicine; however, the hands-on aspect of dentistry felt like a much better fit for him. His father worked in construction, and he grew up working with his hands as a result. 

He truly loves his job and often boasts ‘It is a perfect outlet to use my head, heart, and hands to give back to my community’. Dr. Peter began his career practicing dentistry in the Central Valley before ultimately coming to the realization San Jose is home, and where he sees himself long-term – surrounded by friends and family. 

Dr. Sharifi is a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
